You will quickly see how you got into debt, how to get our finances under control; the magic of power payments; warning signs of credit card abuse; what's hiding in your credit report; how high interest and low payments can keep you in debt for years; the impact of impulse shopping; how consolidation loans double your debt; why bankruptcy can haunt you the rest of your life; and, much more. Cost $20 (includes workbook)

Family Money Management - 2nd & 4th WEDNESDAYS class time is 12noon - 1PM

Learn the importance of goal setting; distinguishing between wants & needs; developing a realistic budget; saving regularly; buying wisely; and, controlling  your debt.  Cost: $10

GET CHECKING - 3rd TUESDAY 9:00 AM-1:00 PM

This class is a comprehensive class that helps you know how to choose an account that is right for you by understanding the types of accounts banks offer.  You will learn how to keep your checking account in balance and how our account relationship can help you establish credit and access other services.  Upon completion of this 6-hour course, and verification that you have cleared any balance with Check Systems, you will be given a certificate that qualifies you to re-establish your banking privileges at a participating bank.  Class Fee $35 (course book provided)

LIVE A RICHER LIFETUESDAYS 2PM - 4PM

This is a 2-hour class created with the bankruptcy filer in mind.  But the principles and practices discussed are valid for any person who is interested in long-term financial health.  If you have filed  bankruptcy, you are required to complete an approved 2-hour education class, that is presented by an approved provider, prior to your discharge date.  CCCS of Coos-Curry, Inc. is approved to issue certificates evidencing completion of a personal financial management instructional course in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code.*  Class Fee $50 or $75 per couple, if you filed a  joint bankruptcy and attend the class together. (course book provided)

Protect yourself from identity theft and credit fraud by checking your credit report, learn how to read and understand it; and, what to do if you find wrong information on the report. This is a private session that can be scheduled any day appointments are available, and the fee is only $10 per report.
